Colonial Regional Police Department

The Colonial Regional Police Department was established on October 1, 1995. The Department was formed when the municipalities realized the need to join together for more effective and efficient police services while still trying to maintain a cost that was equitable to the taxpayers. The name Colonial was chosen as representative of the colonial heritage shared by all three municipalities.

The Department is located at 248 Brodhead Road, Bethlehem (Hanover Township), and provides 24-hour police protection for three Northampton County communities; the Borough of Bath and the Townships of Hanover and Lower Nazareth.

In an emergency always call 9-1-1. For non-emergencies call (610) 861-4820; Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. For situations that require an officer’s assistance after CRPD office hours, call Northampton County Communications Center at (610) 759-2200.
