Yard Waste Program

CURBSIDE ORGANIC WASTE REMOVAL

The Township is proud to announce this Spring the Township will be continuing our program where we will be providing Curbside Organic waste removal. The Township will run this program for two weeks in the Spring so that residents have a way of cleaning up their yard and providing an easy means of disposal for yard waste. The 2025 program will begin on April 21st and run until May 2nd. Crews will cycle through the Township numerous times during this two-week period.

Please place the material at the curb no later than Thursday May 1st. Materials placed by the curb on the final day may not get picked up.

The Township personnel will be utilizing the leaf vacuums for this program. There will be no manual pick-up of debris that is not suitable for the leaf vacuum equipment. Acceptable material will consist of leaves and garden residue. No animal feces, sticks, or dirt.

Larger material, which will not pass through the leaf vacuum, must be brought to our yard waste recycling center located at 4600 Newburg Road by appointment during the normally scheduled hours of operation.

Also, we will be offering bulk waste removal...no appointment required

We will not accept tree stumps, grass clippings, roots, or dirt. Bulk items must set to curb either in an open container, bundled with cotton or hemp twine (bundles shall be no larger than 3x3x3 and no more than 40lbs), or in compostable paper bags.
