Clean-Up Day
Materials Accepted
White goods/Appliances, metal goods, general household trash (furniture, mattresses etc. – no protrusible garbage), wood materials, tires*, and car/truck batteries**

The semi-annual township clean-up days have been scheduled for May 10th and October 11th for 2025. These events will again take place at the new Township Recycling Facility at 4600 Newburg Road. For those folks unaware of the location, 4600 Newburg Road is located at the intersection of Newburg Road and Gremar Road. Gremar Road is approximately 1/4 mile east of Georgetown Road and 1.5 miles west of SR 191 on the north side of Newburg Road. Directly adjacent to the intersection is the Carpenter’s Community Church. To find clean-up day activities on the property simply follow the green “YARD WASTE” signs on Gremar Road that mark the route. Please take note that yard waste will be accepted on this day.
The hours for clean-up day remain at 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine. GATES CLOSE AT 12:45PM

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING TRIP LIMITS: Must unload vehicle without assistance from Township Staff
Each household is limited to the following number of trips…
3 cars/SUVs OR 2 pick-ups OR 1 pick-up and an attached trailer
OR 1 box truck / stake body (up to 17ft)
* Disposal costs per tire are: car – $6.00; truck – $20.00; farm – $35.00
** Disposal costs per battery are: $5.00
ELECTRONICS, PAINT, CHEMICALS & HAZARDOUS MATERIALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
