They will accept those items containing freon at no charge.Upon arrival stop by scale office; do not need to enter the facility. There is a bin by the scale office.Small items can go in the bin and larger items can be placed outside next to the bin.
Typically there are guys there that can help move larger items.

PPL wants you to properly dispose of your old refrigerator, and they’ll pay you to do it. Current PPL customers can call 1-877-486-9204 or click on the link below to schedule a FREE pickup of your refrigerator or freezer. Then they’ll mail you a check for $35.
